palielināt sabiedrības izpratni par cukura diabētu kā slimību un risināt ar to saistītus jautājumus un problēmas;
sekmēt cukura diabēta skarto personu apmācību, dodot prasmi un iespēju personām, kuras slimo ar cukura diabētu, saglabāt veselību, labu dzīves kvalitāti un psihoemocionālo pašsajūtu;
atbalstīt medicīniskos pētījumus, kas atklātu cukura diabēta rašanās cēloņus, kā tos ārstēt un nepieciešamos profilakses pasākumus;
sadarboties ar līdzīgām citu valstu biedrībām.
