Goals of activities 1. veicināt un palielināt Medumu pagasta iedzīvotāju interesi un sapratni par pagasta vēsturi;
2. veicināt Augšdaugavas novada, Latvijas iedzīvotāju, kā arī ārvalstnieku interesi par Medumu pagastu piedāvājumiem tūrisma jomā;
3. sniegt atbalstu aktīva tūrisma iespēju nodrošināšanai Medumu pagasta, Augšdaugavas novada iedzīvotājiem, arī bērniem un jauniešiem, veicinot veselīgu un kustīgu dzīvesveidu;
4. organizēt, rīkot un atbalstīt pasākumus novadpētniecības jomā, vēsturisko liecību vākšanā, vēsturisko ekspozīciju un izstāžu veidošanā;
5. organizēt izglītojošus pasākumus;
6. zinātnisko darbu, rakstu Medumu pagasta novadpētniecības jomā sagatavošana un izdošana;
7. sadarbības veicināšana ar Latvijas un ārvalstu vēstures pētnieciskajām organizācijām, biedrībām;
8. finanšu līdzekļu piesaistīšana Medumu pagasta vēstures pētniecības un popularizēšanas darbībai;
9. sniegt atbalstu Augšdaugavas novada pašvaldībai novadpētniecības un aktīva tūrisma pasākumos;
10. popularizēt Medumu pagasta vārdu novadā, Latvijā un ārvalstīs.
