6. Piedalīties Latvijas un starptautiskajos projektos, kas veicina tūrisma un aktīvas atpūtas attīstību;
7. Pārstāvēt makšķernieku intereses, aizstāvēt viņu likumīgās prasības, iniciatīvas valsts institūcijās, organizācijās;
8. Palīdzēt valsts iestādēm apkopot datus par nelikumīgo makšķerēšanu;
9. Realizēt zivsaimniecības noteikumu ievērošanu Medumu ezerā.
