Goals of activities Nodrošinātu LASTA biedrības vienotību un aizsargātu tās materiālās un morālās intereses visā Latvijas Republikas teritorijā un ārvalstīs; Organizētu autosporta un autotūrisma pasākumus, radītu iespēju Latvijas Republikas iedzīvotājiem nodarboties ar autosportu un autotūrismu; Sekmēt LASTA biedru inventāru un apkalpošanas dienestu uzlabošanu; Attīstīt sakarus ar Latvijas Republikas un ārvalstu komercsabiedrībām un organizācijām, kuras ir ieinteresētas sekmēt Latvijas Republikas autosporta un autotūrisma attīstību; Izstrādātu un īstenotu autosporta ilgtermiņa plānus un programmas; Koordinētu komisiju, klubu un sekciju darbību; Pārraudzītu LASTA struktūrvienību kompetencē esošās starptautiskās, valsts, pilsētu un rajona mēroga sacensību norises un termiņus; Organizēt nacionālo licenču saņemšanu; Veikt pasākumus speciālistus un tiesnešu sagatavošanā un kvalifikācijas celšanā; Atestātu sporta bāzes, sacīkšu trases u.c. sporta objektus, kas paredzēti autosportu sacensību norisei; Izskatītu un ierosinātu jautājumus par sporta kvalifikācijas, Goda nosaukumu u.c. apbalvojumu piešķiršanu. Noteiktā kārtībā izskatītu disciplināros jautājumus; Izskatītu iespējas un veikt savu līdzekļu asignēšanu citām organizācijām kā dalības maksu sporta programmu un pasākumu īstenošanai; Organizētu reklāmu LASTA pasākumu popularizēšanai, izdotu vienreizējus un periodiskus sporta un tehniskos izdevumus, TV un radio pārraides; Slēgt līgumus u.c. darījumus materiāli tehniskās bāzes veidošanai un nostiprināšanai; Apvienot Latvijas tehniskos sporta veidu tiesnešu kopējā saimē. Aizstāvēt Biedrības biedru tiesības un likumīgās intreses.
