4. sekmēt pētījumus dendroloģijas jomā;
5. veicināt starpnozaru sadarbību, īstenojot nozarei nozīmīgus projektus;
6. veicināt un atbalstīt dendroloģiski vērtīgu stādījumu, parku un dārzu izveidošanu, izpēti, saglabāšanu vai atjaunošanu;
7. apvienot Latvijas dendroloģijas speciālistus un interesentus;
8. sekmēt sadarbību starp Biedrību, dendroloģijas un saistīto nozaru speciālistiem Latvijā un citās pasaules valstīs;
9. atbalstīt un veikt ar nozari saistītu iespieddarbību, publicēt zinātniskos vai populārzinātniskos rakstus, veidot digitālo un sociālo mediju saturu;
10. nodrošināt dendroloģijas jomas speciālistu sertifikāciju un uzturēt sertificēto speciālistu reģistru;
11. konsultēt, informēt un izglītot sabiedrību, medijus ar dendroloģiju saistītos jautājumos, rīkot konferences, seminārus, specializētas ekskursijas, kā arī piedalīties citu ar nozari saistītu organizāciju rīkotajos pasākumos,
12. sadarboties ar valsts un pašvaldību iestādēm un organizācijām.
