izkopt un attīstīt medību ētiku un tradīcijas, sekmēt mednieku izglītības un kultūras līmeņa attīstību, veicināt mūžizglītību;
bērnu un jauniešu iesaistīšana Biedrības darbībā, intereses un izpratnes par dabas aizsardzību, medībām un šaušanas sporta veicināšana;
jauno mednieku apmācības organizēšana;
veicināt medību attīstību un popularizēt medības kā kvalitatīva aktīvā dzīvesveida sastāvdaļu;
dibināt kontaktus un sadarboties ar mednieku sabiedriskajām organizācijām Latvijā un ārzemēs;
saņemt ziedojumus no Latvijas un ārvalstu organizācijām, privātpersonām
