Goals of activities 1.Biedrība ir brīvprātīga personu apvienība, kas nodibināta, lai sasniegtu savos statūtos noteikto mērķi, kam nav peļņas gūšanas rakstura. Biedrības tiesisko statusu un darbības pamatus nosaka šie statūti, Biedrību un nodibinājumu likums, Civillikums un citi Latvijas Republikas normatīvie akti.
2.Biedrības mērķi ir kulturālas, izglītojošas, veselīgas atpūtas organizēšana un nodrošināšana esot kustībā un dejojot; pieredzes nodošana un apmaiņa.
3.Veicināt Jaunjelgavas tautas deju kolektīva "ATVARS" darba pilnveidošanu un attīstību.
4.Sekmēt sadarbības iespējas ar citām organizācijām Jaunjelgavā, Latvijā un ārpus tās popularizējot latviskās tradīcijas.
5.Aktivizēt dejotāju dalību konkursos, festivālos, kultūrizglītojošos pasākumos Latvijā un ārpus tās. Atbalstīt un popularizēt pilsētas, novada, starpnovadu, starptautiskos pasākumus un aktivitātes.
6.Organizēt deju nometnes, papildus pasākumus dažāda vecuma un fizisko spēju cilvēkiem, caur kustību prieku popularizēt ne tikai latviešu deju soļus, bet arī sporta dejas.
7.Piesaistīt finanšu līdzekļus mūsdienu materiāli tehniskās bāzes izveidošanai un kultūrizglītojoša pasākumu nodrošināšanai.
