Veikt šķirnes medību suņu ciltsdarbu, rīkot šķirnes suņu izstādes, organizēt viņu treniņus, pārbaudes, kā arī citus pasākumus, kas veicinātu medību šķirnes suņu audzēšanu;
Palīdzēt valsts iestādēm apkarot nelikumīgu medniecību;
Iesaistīt savus biedrus dabas aizsardzības un apsardzības jautājumu risināšanā;
Piedalīties medību apsaimniekošanas plānu izstrādāšanā un īstenošanā;
Realizēt uzraudzību par medību likuma un citu ar medībām saistīto aktu ievērošanu savās medību platībās;
Veicināt lauku un medību tūrisma attīstību.
